Official launch of Connectivity
Connectivity celebrated its official launch on Wednesday 3 March 2021.
Joined by Board Members, esteemed guests, fellow peers and researchers, the morning was formally recognised by Connectivity Chair Professor Robert Vink AM, Connectivity CEO and Professor of Neurotrauma Lindy Fitzgerald and Connectivity Advocate and AFL great Matthew Pavlich.
Outlined throughout the morning were the key objectives of Connectivity:
- Connect researchers with clinicians and health care professionals to disseminate information and enhance translation of research findings
- Connect researchers with people (and their carers) who have lived experience of traumatic brain injury to deepen understanding, improve guidelines and enhance treatment
- Raise awareness of traumatic brain injury in the community.
Together, and with the broader support of the community, Connectivity will continue to strive to improve the lives and outcomes for all who suffer from traumatic brain injury.
